Haveo — Privacy Policy

TL;DR: Haveo is a personal networking-prep assistant. Everything you type stays on your device. We don't have a server that stores your data, we don't sell your data, and we don't track you across other apps.

What information Haveo collects

On your device only:

Your name, role, industry, and bio (the profile you set up during onboarding)
The events you add (name, date, time, description, your networking goals)
Notes, intros, talking points, and reflections you create
Your settings and preferences

This data is stored locally on your device using iOS's built-in storage. It never leaves your phone unless you choose to share it.

Sent to Anthropic (only when AI features are active):

When you chat with Haveo's AI coach (Coaching Studio, Role-Play, Talking Points), your messages are sent over HTTPS through a relay server we operate, which forwards them to Anthropic's Claude API and returns the response. The relay passes requests through without storing them. Anthropic processes those messages according to their own privacy policy.

We send Anthropic:

The text of your chat messages with the AI coach
Your name, role, industry, interests, and the event details you're prepping for (so the AI can give relevant advice)

We do not send Anthropic:

Your other events
Your reflections or quick notes
Your saved cheat sheet items
Anything from other parts of the app

If AI features are disabled, nothing is sent to Anthropic.

What Haveo does not do

We don't have user accounts or login
We don't collect analytics about how you use the app
We don't use cookies or tracking pixels
We don't share data with advertisers
We don't sell data to third parties
We don't access your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, or notifications
We don't have a backend server that stores your data (our relay only forwards AI requests without keeping them)

Your data, your control

Delete an event: removes it from your device immediately. We can't recover it.
Delete the app: removes everything Haveo has stored on your device.
Reset everything: iOS Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Haveo > Delete App.

There's no "delete my account" button because there are no accounts.

Children's privacy

Haveo is rated 13+ on the App Store (12+ in some regions and on earlier operating systems) and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect any information from children under 13.
